The MGCF Test Engineer will test, troubleshoot, and maintain MGCF systems from Ericsson and Nokia, develop fixes for call failures, and lead interoperability testing.
MGCF Test Engineer-Redmond WA
Required knowledge, experience, and skills:
· Test, Trouble shoot and Maintain Ericsson(legacy Nortel) and Nokia (legacy ALU) MGCFs in the Lab.
· Investigate issues in call failures in the network and design and develop fixes as needed
· Design and develop MGCF functionality as part of IMS network, including routers and billing capabilities as needed
· Lead in InterOP testing (IOT) working with multiple vendors
· Provision and upgrade MGCF associated IP routers
· Maintain operational stability of Legacy Nortel (Now Ericsson) equipment (MGCF) in the lab
· Monitor, investigate & rectify alarms on the network elements
· Provision network elements & required datafill as required(MGCFC/MGW/)
· Provide weekly report on equipment status & activity
· Investigate & replace defective hardware
· Administer, manage & support backup & the backup serve
