Microsoft Consumer Marketing is seeking a highly conceptual, craft-driven Microsoft Consumer Marketing – Creative Director (Copy) with a strong copywriting and storytelling background to shape the next generation of consumer marketing and brand communications across Microsoft’s consumer portfolio including Copilot, Surface, Windows, Microsoft 365, and emerging AI experiences. This role calls for a world-class narrative thinker—someone who can transform complex technology into clear, emotionally resonant stories that move people.

This candidate is a talented writer, editor, and creative strategist with deep experience developing integrated campaigns, product narratives, launch storytelling, scripts, executive communications, and digital-first brand systems. They understand how language, pacing, tone, and narrative structure work together to create modern, culturally relevant marketing that stands apart.

Reporting into senior marketing leadership, this individual will operate at the center of a highly matrixed organization, partnering across Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Engineering, and external creative partners to deliver cohesive, high-impact storytelling across Microsoft’s consumer ecosystem.

As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals.
