Job Responsibilities
- Manage parts pool configuration of available & applicable parts by program/model type
- Evaluate impact of service bulletins, mandatory changes, customer options, engineering change memos, part drawing changes and part interchangeability updates
- Make changes in Master Part Data Library (MPDL)
- Induct specific models into MPDL and understand model contract requirements related to parts configuration management
- Investigate and provide solutions to parts engineering related customer requests
- Draft, coordinate and manage customer Part Configuration Agreements (PCAs)
- Coordinate with other engineering groups, supplier management, program management, finance and other on-site Boeing support groups
- Communicate with suppliers and customers inside and outside of Boeing
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- Experience: 5+ years of related work experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processes
- Technical Skills: Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Production Configuration Management
- Experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations
- Experience working with suppliers and customers
- Experience with PDM, CAPP, REDARS, PSDS, IVT, WIRS, VELOCITY, ENOVIA, MyBoeingFleet, SRP, STEPS
