Network Engineer

Leads infrastructure and network engineering workstreams, modernizes network platforms, resolves complex technical issues, and advises on system dependencies, resilience, security, and compliance. Designs and operates routing, switching, wireless, WAN, cloud, edge, and segmentation solutions. Automates infrastructure services, validates AI-assisted recommendations, supports audits, leads architecture reviews, and mentors engineers without direct line management.

Leads requirements capture, telecom tendering, vendor evaluation, and end-to-end network connectivity solution design across the Americas. Develops resilient architectures, manages design governance and risk controls, oversees supplier performance, and supports regional network strategy. Partners with stakeholders, telecom providers, sourcing teams, and engineering groups while mentoring junior engineers and evaluating emerging connectivity technologies. Requires expertise in cloud platforms, telecommunications, hybrid architectures, and the Americas carrier market.

Own end-to-end network reliability across data centers, AWS, and GCP, including routing, switching, DNS, load balancing, service mesh, VPNs, circuits, and cross-connects. Automate network configuration with Ansible, Terraform, GitOps, CI validation, and IPAM. Engineer failover, observability, security hardening, client connectivity, and Kubernetes ingress while participating in an interrupt-contained on-call rotation.
