Position SummaryThe successful candidate will be a member of a collaborative, highly interdisciplinary science team that includes imaging scientists and clinicians with research focus on movement disorders. They will perform innovative data analyses with emphasis on neuroimaging and related data with emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). A major responsibility will relate to software development and implementation in a neuroimaging-focused, neuroscience lab.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain computer algorithms for analyzing structural and functional MRI data for neuroimaging-related neuroscience research purposes. 
  • Assist with design and ongoing development of custom software necessary to implement computer algorithms. 
  • Process existing neuroimaging data and perform robust quality assurance. Database management for neuroimaging studies. 
  •  Prepare program descriptions and documentation both for newly developed and existing analysis software for the purpose of processing and analyzing neuroimaging data.
  • Develop and apply advanced statistical and analytical approaches to neuroimaging and related data using software programming tools (e.g., Linux, MATLAB, Python, R routines) for the purpose of analyzing neuroimaging data. 
  • Prepare program descriptions and documentation both for newly developed and existing analysis software for the purpose of processing and analyzing neuroimaging data.  Transfer files to appropriate server and maintain study neuroimaging database. 
  • Miscellaneous tasks related to laboratory neuroimaging analyses goals

Salary Range$53,100.00 - $90,600.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
