You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary IT liaison for Optum Rx PBM clients, acting as the single point of contact for technology related needs
  • Bridge business, operations, and technology by partnering with account managers and operational teams to address client requirements
  • Manage and resolve complex technical inquiries and issues across pre sales, client onboarding, and ongoing service delivery
  • Provide hands on technical coordination and leadership, ensuring timely, consistent responses without requiring non-technical stakeholders to navigate IT processes
  • Participate in client meetings to support issue resolution, planning, and alignment
  • Leverage AI process efficiency tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve responsiveness and workflow effectiveness
  • Protect client experience by ensuring adequate coverage and continuity of support during periods of growth

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience serving as a client facing technology liaison, supporting external clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proven experience handling multiple concurrent technical inquiries and issues in a production environment
  • Working knowledge of PBM or healthcare technology environments
  • Familiarity with IT service management processes (intake, escalation, incident coordination)
  • Proven ability to translate business and client needs into technical conversations with IT and operations teams
  • Proven solid cross functional collaboration skills, partnering with account management, operations, and technology teams
  • Demonstrated communication skills for written and verbal client interactions, including participation in client meetings
  • Proven ability to coordinate issue resolution across distributed IT teams without direct authority
  • Proven ability to navigate complex technology ecosystems and identify the appropriate teams for resolution
  • Comfortable working across multiple US Time Zones in a client facing role

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting client onboarding, implementations, or pre-sales activities
  • Experience using process efficiency or productivity tools (e.g., Copilot) to manage workload
  • Proven solid problem-solving skills and willingness to investigate issues beyond surface level symptoms

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $134,600 to $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
