JOB SUMMARY
Argano is seeking an experienced FCCS Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of financial consolidation and close processes, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions that meet business requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect and design Oracle FCCS solutions tailored to meet business requirements related to financial consolidation, close management, regulatory reporting, and corporate performance management.
- Lead the implementation of FCCS solutions, including application design, configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and integration with source systems.
- Design and maintain FCCS applications, including metadata, ownership management, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, consolidation rules, calculations, and reporting structures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architecture, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design and implement financial close processes, consolidation workflows, and reporting frameworks that support organizational objectives.
- Optimize performance and scalability of FCCS applications through application tuning, process improvements, and adherence to Oracle best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for FCCS applications, including issue resolution, system enhancements, and user training.
- Stay current with Oracle EPM Cloud product updates, patches, and best practices related to FCCS and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Participate in presales activities, as needed, to develop client solutions and presentations, and to demonstrate, present, and explain Argano’s offerings to prospective clients.
- Perform technical evaluations of current consolidation and financial close processes and provide recommendations for improvement and modernization.
- Experience in leading strategic reviews is considered an advantage.
- Mentor junior team members and share expertise in FCCS and Oracle EPM Cloud technologies.
EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of experience architecting, implementing, and supporting Oracle EPM solutions, including significant experience with Oracle FCCS.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including FCCS, Calculation Manager, Narrative Reporting, Financial Reporting, Smart View, Data Integration, EPM Automate, and Groovy scripting. Familiarity with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and/or Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM) is highly desirable.
- Must have completed at least 5 end-to-end FCCS implementations, including complex, multi-entity consolidation environments.
- Extensive experience in financial consolidation processes, including ownership management, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, consolidation adjustments, and statutory reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles, including GAAP, IFRS, financial close processes, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Experience in process reengineering and designing finance transformation solutions involving consolidation, close, reporting, and governance.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data integration techniques.
- Experience integrating FCCS with ERP systems such as Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP, NetSuite, or similar financial applications.
- Strong leadership skills and proven ability to advise clients on strategic EPM and finance transformation initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Must be fully available to travel within the United States.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS
- Oracle Cloud EPM Implementation Certification.
- Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (FCCS) Certification.
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting/finance certification is a plus.
