About Us:

YipitData is the leading market research and analytics firm for the disruptive economy and most recently raised $475M from The Carlyle Group at a valuation of over $1B. Every day, our proprietary technology analyzes billions of alternative data points to uncover actionable insights across sectors like software, AI, cloud, e-commerce, ridesharing, and payments.

Our data and research teams transform raw data into strategic intelligence, delivering accurate, timely, and deeply contextualized analysis that our customers—ranging from the world’s top investment funds to Fortune 500 companies—depend on to drive high-stakes decisions. From sourcing and licensing novel datasets to rigorous analysis and expert narrative framing, our teams ensure clients get not just data, but clarity and confidence.

We operate globally with offices in the US, APAC, and India. Our award-winning, people-centric culture—recognized by Inc. as a Best Workplace for three consecutive years—emphasizes transparency, ownership, and continuous mastery.

What It’s Like to Work at YipitData:

YipitData isn’t a place for coasting—it’s a launchpad for ambitious, impact-driven professionals. From day one, you’ll take the lead on meaningful work, accelerate your growth, and gain exposure that shapes careers.

Why Top Talent Chooses YipitData:

  • Ownership That Matters: You’ll lead high-impact projects with real business outcomes
  • Rapid Growth: We compress years of learning into months
  • Merit Over Titles: Trust and responsibility are earned through execution, not tenure
  • Velocity with Purpose: We move fast, support each other, and aim high—always with purpose and intention

If your ambition is matched by your work ethic—and you're hungry for a place where growth, impact, and ownership are the norm—YipitData might be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

About The Role:

We’re hiring an Associate SEO and AEO Manager to build the foundation of YipitData’s discoverability and organic growth engine.

Buyers increasingly find answers through search engines and AI assistants before they ever talk to a vendor. YipitData sits on a limitless engine of proprietary insight, and this role is about pointing that engine at the market so prospects find us on their own, engage with our content, and raise their hands to talk to us. You’ll own our SEO and AEO strategy for the YipitData organization end to end: mapping the questions our buyers ask across their journey, turning that map into a content roadmap designed to be the definitive answer, and building the systems that track whether it’s working. You’ll partner closely with the YipitAgent team to produce and verify content at scale, and with marketing, product, and sales to connect organic traffic to pipeline.

This is a builder’s role. You’ll bring bleeding-edge, AI-informed tactics to a program you get to shape from the ground up, with the data, tooling, and support to move quickly.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Non-branded organic sessions and AI-sourced sessions grow quarter over quarter.
  • YipitData is cited as a source in AI-generated answers for the questions our buyers ask.
  • Content ships at a consistent, measurable velocity and gets refreshed when performance slips.
  • Organic becomes a reliable, attributable source of conversions and pipeline.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters is located), one of our office hubs, or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.

As Our Associate SEO and AEO Manager You Will:

  • Own YipitData’s overall SEO and AEO strategy, from technical foundations and on-page optimization to how our content gets surfaced and cited in AI answer engines.
  • Own keyword, query, and question mapping across the full buyer journey, identifying where prospects are searching, what they’re asking, and where we can be the definitive answer.
  • Translate that mapping into a prioritized content roadmap and detailed article briefs, including structure, target queries, entities, and the proof points that make a piece authoritative.
  • Coordinate with the YipitAgent team on content production, and own verification and quality review of content before it goes live.
  • Build and maintain our tracking and reporting system for content velocity, non-branded organic sessions, AI-sourced sessions and visibility, AI answer citation share, organic conversion rate, and organic-sourced pipeline.
  • Continuously iterate on content performance, including a disciplined refresh program that updates, consolidates, or retires pages based on data.
  • Build and manage our third-party presence on platforms that influence both human buyers and AI models, such as Reddit, Quora, Crunchbase, G2, and industry directories.
  • Work with PR on our citation strategy so our proprietary data becomes the source that publishers, analysts, and AI systems reference.
  • Implement structured data, schema, internal linking, and technical SEO best practices in partnership with web and engineering stakeholders.
  • Run a steady cadence of experiments on titles, formats, structure, and distribution.

You Are Likely To Succeed If:

  • You have 4+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, content marketing, or organic growth, ideally at a B2B SaaS or data company, and have owned measurable outcomes like organic traffic, rankings, or organic-sourced pipeline. Direct experience with AEO, generative engine optimization, or AI search visibility is required.
  • You’re fluent in the modern SEO toolkit and are actively experimenting with AI visibility and citation tracking tools.
  • You think in questions and answers, not just keywords, and can build a buyer-journey map that connects what people ask to what we should publish.
  • You write clear, specific content briefs and have a sharp editorial eye for what makes a piece genuinely authoritative versus merely optimized.
  • Testing is in YipitData’s DNA. You’d rather run a scrappy experiment this week than debate the perfect plan for a month. You treat failed tests as data and you’re always exploring new tools, channels, and ideas to see what they can do.
  • You’re comfortable with technical SEO fundamentals, including crawlability, indexation, site structure, Core Web Vitals, and structured data, and can work effectively with engineers.
  • You’re an operator who likes building systems and processes from scratch, and you stay current on how search engines and LLMs are changing the way content gets discovered and cited.
  • You collaborate well across content, product, design, and sales, and communicate priorities, results, and tradeoffs clearly.

What We Offer:

Our compensation package includes comprehensive benefits, perks, and a competitive salary:

  • We care about your personal life, and we mean it. We offer flexible work hours, flexible vacation, a generous 401K match, parental leave, team events, wellness budget, learning reimbursement, and more!
  • Your growth at YipitData is determined by the impact that you are making, not by tenure, unnecessary facetime, or office politics. Everyone at YipitData is empowered to learn, self-improve, and master their skills in an environment focused on ownership, respect, and trust. See more on our high-impact, high-opportunity work environment above!
  • Base Salary Only: The annual base salary range for this position is anticipated to be $108K-123K. Final compensation may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal team benchmarks.
  • The compensation package also includes equity.

This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
