About Us:
Marmon/Keystone is part of Marmon Holdings, a Berkshire Hathaway company that Warren Buffett has described as “our kind of company.” We’ve been a force in the metals distribution industry since 1907, and we’re just getting started. With over 20 locations across North America and an unwavering commitment to innovation, we are modernizing what it means to deliver precision metals, engineered services, and next-level customer partnerships.
About the Role:

If so, this is your opportunity to join Marmon/Keystone as an Outside Sales Representative responsible for expanding our presence across Minnesota and a southeastern portion of North Dakota.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute a territory strategy targeting high potential accounts across metals manufacturing, fabrication, and distribution.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new customers, expanding our presence in key market segments.
- Grow existing relationships by uncovering new needs, cross selling value added services, and deepening engagement.
- Analyze market trends and competitive activity to inform pricing, product positioning, and account strategy.
- Keep customers informed about industry and economic trends and Marmon/Keystone’s ability to help them adapt and stay competitive.
- Collaborate cross functionally with operations, supply chain, and quality to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular territory performance updates, including pipeline health, revenue forecasts, and strategic insights.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of sales experience with measurable success in expanding business and increasing revenue.
- Experience with tubing, pipe, bar, or value added metal services strongly preferred.
- Strong business and financial acumen with margin management experience.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Willingness to travel 70+ percent across the assigned region.
- A results oriented sales professional with a record of developing new business in industrial, metals, or manufacturing sectors.
- Confident in building and maintaining long term partnerships while consistently achieving performance goals.
- Analytical, strategic, and entrepreneurial, treating your territory like your own business.
- Skilled in communicating effectively with both technical and executive audiences.
- Energized by competition, learning, and continuous improvement.
Why Join Marmon/Keystone:
- Uncapped earning potential with base salary plus commission tied to performance.
- Immediate day one benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with Roth option, and company paid life insurance.
