Who We Are

Popl is defining a new category we call In-Person Go-To-Market.

We help revenue teams turn real-world interactions — trade shows, conferences, field events, and meetings — into measurable pipeline and revenue. Our AI-native platform powers event lead capture, enrichment, and real-time CRM sync, transforming every badge scan into a high-quality, actionable lead.

In a world where digital channels are saturated, we're building the infrastructure that makes in-person GTM measurable, scalable, and revenue-driving. Our mission is simple: help companies around the world turn in-person events into a measurable & scalable growth channel.

About the Role

Popl is looking for an experienced, high-energy Outside Sales Representative to join our fast-growing team! In this role, you’ll be on the front lines, engaging prospects, qualifying inbound and outbound leads, meeting tons of new people, and representing Popl at in-person events across the country.

This is a great fit for someone with 2-5 years of experience in outside sales, field sales, field marketing, or SDR/BDR (preferably in SaaS or tech), who’s excited about traveling, in-person networking, and working closely with GTM teams to drive measurable growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Capture & Qualify Leads: Approach prospected leads at trade shows and conferences.

  • Own First Touch: Be the first point of contact for potential customers, understanding their pain points and clearly articulating how Popl can help

  • Drive Pipeline: Book qualified meetings for our Account Executives and help fuel our revenue engine

  • Travel for Events: Attend multiple industry trade shows and conferences every month

  • CRM Hygiene: Keep CRM & outreach tools organized and updated with accurate contact and opportunity data

  • Collaborate: Work closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to continuously improve messaging and process

  • Coach & train: Share best practices and help train other team members on sales tactics.

What We’re Looking For
  • 2-5 years in a field sales, field marketing or SDR/BDR role (preferably in SaaS or tech)

  • Experience managing and coaching a team

  • Located in a city with a major airport for easy travel across the country

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal

  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and creative prospecting

  • Self-starter mindset: coachable, organized, and eager to grow

  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade CRM & marketing automation platforms

Nice to Haves
  • Experience working in event marketing, field sales, or at conferences

  • Based in a major metropolitan area with a high concentration of conferences and large-scale events (e.g., Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando) and willing to attend 5-8 conferences per month in your local metro area

  • Continuous Learning: At Popl, we are excited to learn new things every single day. Being a curious and continuous learner is paramount

  • Team Player: Willingness to join and help cultivate a positive team culture. Our team is young, full of energy, and so excited about our mission. We’d like to have you join us!

Why join us?
  • Be part of a rocket-ship startup redefining how professionals connect and grow.

  • Work closely with experienced leaders and cross-functional teams to shape our financial strategy.

  • Make a measurable impact in a role critical to our long-term success.

  • Fully remote

  • Competitive salary

  • Meaningful equity

  • Full insurance & benefits

  • Unlimited PTO

  • $150 monthly wellness credit

  • Constant daily learning

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
