Join Precision Door Service—a team that opens doors to opportunity.
Precision Door Service (PDS), a private equity-backed leader in residential and commercial garage door services, is seeking an experienced, highly specialized Paid Search Manager. This individual will be directly responsible for developing and managing high-performance digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, and Performance Max (PMAX) for 15+ local markets. This is a tactical, hands-on role that goes beyond basic campaign oversight—requiring deep expertise in paid media execution, agency/vendor management, performance reporting, and strategic growth enablement. The ideal candidate is an expert in paid search who thrives in platform interfaces, proactively audits agency work, runs RFPs when needed, and leverages 1st-party data connections with Google to maximize efficiency and return on ad spend.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and optimize multi-channel PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, and PMAX for 15+ local markets.
  • Actively manage daily operations inside Google Ads Manager, Bing Ads, and GA4, ensuring performance is monitored and optimized in real-time.
  • Strategically connect 1st-party data (e.g., CRM, call center, offline conversion tracking) to Google's data ecosystem to enhance campaign efficiency.
  • Lead strategy and execution of PMAX campaigns, understanding asset grouping, audience signals, and performance segmentation.
  • Oversee and audit external PPC agency deliverables, ensuring campaigns align with internal goals and platform best practices.
  • Lead the creation, review, and negotiation of agency/vendor contracts and RFPs when required.
  • Regularly report on campaign performance, pacing, and KPIs to internal stakeholders using dashboards and performance summaries.
  • Own A/B testing roadmap for ads, audience segments, landing pages, ad copy and conversion strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with web, SEO, content, and operations teams to support integrated marketing strategies.
  • Stay up to date on PPC trends, PMAX algorithm updates, platform innovations, and competitive activity in local and national home services.
  • Develop real-time bid strategies to coordinate with Operations and technician capacity to maximize leads and reduce cancellations
  • Embrace AI and new technologies to stay ahead business curve and customer expectations
  • Foster, develop and coordinate relationships with Google Team directly and independently from agency support
  • Maintain advanced verification status for all paid campaigns

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of hands-on PPC experience managing and executing campaigns across Google Ads and Bing Ads.
  • Advanced expertise in PMAX, Search, Display, and Retargeting within Google Ads ecosystem.
  • Google Ads certification required; strong familiarity with GA4, conversion tracking, and offline data uploads.
  • Experience connecting 1st-party data sources to ad platforms (e.g., CRM, GCLID matching, offline conversion tracking).
  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualization.
  • Experience running agency audits, evaluating vendor performance, and conducting RFPs.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to translate data into action and business impact.
  • Comfortable managing multi-million dollar budgets across multiple geographies and seasonal shifts.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in the home services industry or other multi-location field services business preferred.
  • Self-starter with a relentless drive for performance and accountability.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
