About the role:

PDQ's channel motion is a growth priority, and the foundation of our partner program is in place. As Partner Marketing Specialist, you'll help scale it. You'll report to the Manager, Partner Marketing and work across the full program, recruiting and engaging our broader network of reseller partners while supporting our Core partners alongside your manager. You'll build the enablement, communications, campaigns, and events that help reseller partners sell PDQ with confidence.

Why this role matters:
In this role, you'll help scale PDQ's partner program and get partners engaged, directly impacting channel pipeline and revenue.

How you might spend your day:

  • Build enablement assets that help partner sales and marketing teams pitch PDQ, such as decks, one-pagers, email templates, and campaign kits.
  • Run weekly and monthly partner communications that keep partners informed, engaged, and selling.
  • Plan and launch top-of-funnel campaigns to recruit new partners and activate the ones we already have.
  • Plan and run co-hosted partner events and a few tradeshows, from logistics and promotion through follow-up.
  • Support Core partner programs and campaigns alongside the Manager, Partner Marketing.
  • Track partner engagement and campaign results, for example in Salesforce, and use what you learn to improve the next campaign or event.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Marketing, and Operations.

We're looking for people who have:

Must Have:

  • 2+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience.
  • Hands-on event planning and execution experience, including coordinating with external partners and vendors.
  • Experience building marketing assets and campaigns, such as decks, emails, and landing pages.
  • Comfortable using AI tools in your work, or AI curious and eager to learn.
  • Ability to travel regularly (20 – 35% of your time)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with channel, reseller, and/or MSP partners.
  • Experience managing MDF or co-marketing funds.
  • Familiarity with partner enablement or PRM platforms.
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Experience marketing IT or software products to IT audiences.

Who you are:

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Adaptability and a nimble approach in a growing, evolving program.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A partner mindset: you think about what partners need to win, not only what PDQ wants to say.
  • A creative streak, with fresh ideas for getting partners' attention and making PDQ easy to sell.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working alongside sales and building structure where it does not exist yet.

Why You'll Love Working at PDQ:

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
