About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Overview

As a Solution Engineer within Global Technology Partners, you will be instrumental in driving platform adoption and innovation by selling the value of our platform to both new and existing ISV partners. Your core responsibility is to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling business value, rapidly building bespoke demos and vision prototypes using AI-assisted tools, sales pitch videos, and strategic guidance that emphasize speed-to-market, cost efficiency, and enabling partners to focus on core innovation rather than infrastructure. You'll act as a strategic advisor, helping partners define new app scopes and product roadmaps, while continuously applying a curiosity-driven approach to uncover new opportunities and solve partner challenges within our ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Value Proposition & Storytelling: Articulate and evangelize the platform's unique value proposition to prospective and existing ISV partners, crafting compelling narratives that highlight benefits such as accelerated speed-to-market, predictable and lower operational costs, faster application development, and the ability to shift focus from infrastructure maintenance to core innovation.

  • Bespoke Solution Design & Demonstration: Develop and deliver highly customized, technically engaging demonstrations and proof-of-concept scenarios that showcase how the platform can specifically address an ISV partner's strategic goals and enhance their product offerings.

  • AI-Accelerated Build & Prototype: Use AI-assisted tools (Cursor, Claude, Gemini, Agentforce, or equivalent) to rapidly scaffold demos and vision prototypes turning a discovery conversation into a clickable, working 0 → 1 prototype that makes the partner's vision tangible for their executive team.

  • Technical Sales Content Creation: Produce impactful sales collateral, including technical pitch videos, solution briefs, and architectural diagrams, to effectively communicate platform capabilities and partner success stories.

  • Partner Innovation & Roadmap Guidance: Collaborate closely with ISV partners to understand their current product landscape, identify new innovation opportunities on the platform, and help define the scope, value proposition, and technical roadmap for potential new applications or enhanced offerings.

  • Strategic Opportunity Qualification & Scoping: Work with Partner Account Managers (PAMs) to deeply understand partner requirements, qualify sales opportunities, and technically scope potential projects, ensuring alignment between partner needs and platform capabilities.

  • Curiosity-Driven Problem Solving & Discovery: Proactively explore emerging technologies, new platform features, and evolving market trends with an inquisitive mindset. Leverage this curiosity to uncover unspoken partner needs, identify novel applications of the platform, and discover innovative solutions that drive mutual success.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Platform & Technical Acumen: Possess a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS/PaaS platforms, and API-first development. This includes proficiency in designing and building compelling technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, potentially involving light coding or scripting, and familiarity with modern application development methodologies and developer tools.

  • Value-Based Selling & Storytelling: Demonstrate the ability to translate complex technical features into clear, concise business benefits and compelling narratives for diverse audiences. This includes strong presentation skills, comfortably delivering engaging product demonstrations and technical pitches to both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Discovery & Solution Scoping: Exhibit excellent active listening and questioning skills to uncover partner needs, pain points, and strategic objectives. This enables helping partners define initial application scope and value propositions on the platform effectively.

  • AI-First Builder Mentality: You don't just consume AI, you build with it. Demonstrated history of shipping tools, automations, agents, or prototypes using AI or low-code platforms (e.g., Cursor, Lovable, Claude, Slackbot skills, custom demo orgs); comfortable embracing ambiguity and building the plane while flying it.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Show a demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal teams, such as Partner Account Managers, Product, and Engineering, to align on partner solutions and advocate for partner needs.

  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Maintain a curious and inquisitive mindset, eager to explore new technologies, identify innovative solutions, and adapt to evolving platform capabilities and partner requirements. This also includes the ability to troubleshoot common technical issues during demos or initial partner engagements.

  • Communication: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills for creating impactful technical content, delivering persuasive presentations, and engaging in effective discussions with partners.
