Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Privacy Analyst to support the organization's data protection and regulatory compliance initiatives. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring adherence to applicable privacy laws and policies, conducting risk assessments, and supporting enterprise-wide data governance efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of privacy frameworks, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across legal, IT, and business teams to uphold the organization's commitment to data privacy and regulatory integrity.

Responsibilities:


·         Prepare and/or review various privacy compliance reports such as Privacy Threshold Analysis; System of Record Notices: Privacy Impact Assessment, and Privacy Act statements

·         Privacy Compliance; FOIA processing support; Privacy and Policy Oversight

·         Review data flows and business processes to identify privacy risks and recommend mitigation strategies

·         Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness materials; coordinate and facilitate breach response simulations

·         Track emerging privacy legislation and contribute to impact assessments and compliance strategy adjustments

·         Involved in reviewing information security plans, security controls

·         Assist in audits and regulatory inquiries related to data protection and privacy compliance

·         Facilitate communications and workflows between agency Privacy personnel and stakeholders

Requirements

·         Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university, in relevant discipline, required

·         CIPP, CIPP/G certification a plus

·         Minimum 3+ years prior experience in Privacy support (5 years preferred)

·         Skilled in articulating ideas and information through written reports and verbal briefings

·         Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
