About the Role

YipitData is making one of its most ambitious Product bets: building an AI-powered product that transforms how clients interact with data.

This product will allow users to ask complex business questions and receive real-time, analyst-quality answers powered by billions of alternative data points. This initiative sits at the center of YipitData's product strategy and represents a fundamentally new way customers access and derive value from our data.

As a Product Designer, you will help define how users interact with AI-powered insights. You'll design the workflows, interfaces, and experiences that make complex data feel intuitive, trustworthy, and actionable.

This role sits at the intersection of product design, data, and AI. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Leadership to shape a new product from the ground up and define the future user experience for one of YipitData's most strategic initiatives.

Success in this role requires strong product thinking, exceptional design craft, and a builder's mindset. You'll thrive in ambiguity, move quickly from concept to execution, and help shape how customers interact with the next generation of AI-powered market intelligence.

What You'll DoProduct Design & User Experience
  • Own end-to-end design for key  product workflows, from discovery through launch.
  • Design intuitive experiences that help customers explore data, ask questions, and generate insights.
  • Translate complex AI and data concepts into clear, elegant user experiences.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define problems, evaluate solutions, and ship high-quality products.
AI & Agent Experience Design
  • Help define how users interact with the product  across search, conversation, analysis, and insight-generation workflows.
  • Design experiences that build trust in AI-generated outputs through clarity, transparency, and explainability.
  • Develop interaction patterns for new AI-powered capabilities and emerging customer workflows.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the product as new datasets, use cases, and agent capabilities are introduced.
Research & Product Strategy
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to improve product experiences.
  • Help shape product direction by identifying opportunities to improve usability, adoption, and customer value.
Design Systems & Quality
  • Contribute to shared design systems and standards.
  • Ensure experiences remain consistent, scalable, and high quality as the product evolves.
  • Partner with Engineering to maintain design fidelity and usability across releases.
You Are Likely to Succeed If You Have
  • 3+ years of experience designing B2B SaaS, enterprise software, analytics, or data products.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, UX design, and visual design craft.
  • Experience designing complex workflows, dashboards, analytics tools, or AI-powered products.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with Product Managers and Engineers.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and helping shape products from first principles.
  • Experience simplifying complex information into intuitive user experiences.
  • Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of building impactful products.

Experience designing AI/LLM-powered products, data platforms, analytics products, or decision-support tools is strongly preferred.
