Job Description:

A Product Manager works to roadmap and deliver core functionality that helps our customers improve their learning and business outcomes. They deliver important features and further areas of focus that align to our company strategy. Their role is to help identify and build frictionless points of engagement with our users.

Who you’re committed to being:

  • You enjoy learning and are open to new ways of doing things.

  • You are not afraid to be yourself, experiment, make mistakes and learn from them, ask questions, or voice your concerns.

  • When communicating you are self-aware, insightful, and proactive.

  • You love partnering across the organization and have experiencing driving GTM coordination as well as partnership across your technical teams.

  • You believe in continuous improvement and request frequent feedback from others.

What you’ll do:

  • Common Components: Own the shared UI and backend infrastructure that powers content tooling across courses, assessments, labs, and emerging content types — ensuring consistency, reusability, and scalability across the authoring stack.

  • Author Management: Build and maintain the surfaces and systems that support both third-party contracted authors and internal Pluralsight staff — spanning the dashboards, royalty management, and content opportunity workflows.

  • Content Import & Ingestion: Own the pipelines and tooling that bring content into the platform reliably and at scale, reducing manual intervention and accelerating time-to-publish.

  • Content Access Management: Maintain the systems that govern how content is organized, surfaced, and permissioned — ensuring the right content reaches the right audiences.

  • Headless Authoring (APIs & MCP): Lead the strategy and delivery of API-first and MCP-native authoring capabilities that enable content creation and publishing programmatically at scale.

  • Translation & Transcript Management: Own the workflows and tooling that support content localization and transcript generation — expanding content reach and accessibility globally.

  • Tagging & Metadata: Build and govern the tagging infrastructure and taxonomy systems that make content discoverable and connectable to skills frameworks across the platform.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical PM, with hands-on ownership of APIs, data pipelines, or platform-adjacent products at a SaaS company.

  • Experience building or scaling content management, publishing workflow, or digital asset tools — ideally involving both internal and external contributors.

  • Familiarity with headless CMS architectures, API-first product design, and emerging agentic/MCP integration patterns.

  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear product specs and prioritized roadmaps without relying solely on intermediary technical leads.

  • Experience managing products that serve multiple distinct user personas with divergent workflows and incentive structures.

  • Experience with localization workflows or content accessibility requirements is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Product Manager for SaaS or software products

  • Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams comprised of Engineers and Product Designers

  • Proven experience working with ambiguity and being able to build strategic direction and roadmap

  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.

Why you’ll love working here:

  • We are mission-driven, shaping the future of tech upskillling and delivering impact that matters.

  • We foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, where everyone can contribute and thrive.
