Job Description

Overview of the Role

We are passionate about creating an elevated digital experience for our customers. We are looking for a Mobile App Product Manager to join our team and lead the development and execution of our mobile app strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a mobile app experience that connects e-commerce, in-home design, in-store experiences, gift registry, and content.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and product managers to bring your vision to life.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the mobile app strategy for WSI.
  • Lead a team of product managers and collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver exceptional customer experiences through our mobile app.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product strategy, development, and launch plans.
  • Define and prioritize product features, requirements, and roadmap based on customer insights, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including e-commerce, in-home design, in-store, gift registry, and content teams, to ensure a unified mobile app experience.
  • Manage product budgets and timelines to ensure delivery on time and on budget.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Guide a team of Mobile App Product Managers on strategy and execution.

Criteria

  • 10+ years of experience in mobile app product development and management.
  • 5+ years of experience in the retail industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of launching successful products and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse set of business and technology partners.

Desired Skills And Experience

  • Experience with native mobile app development (iOS and Android).
  • Experience with mobile app analytics and reporting.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based mobile app development platforms.
