Whether addressing internal operational needs or delivering scalable SaaS solutions for brands and 3PLs, your work will have a tangible impact on how modern warehouses operate.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with internal teams—especially operations—to understand warehouse processes and quickly implement solutions that enhance efficiency and optimize key metrics like Orders Per Hour (OPH), Units Per Hour (UPH), and Cycle Time.
  • Ship innovative features, focusing on internal WMS tools, from ideation through development to launch, ensuring alignment with warehouse operations.
  • Spend at least three days a week onsite at the fulfillment center to observe workflows, gather real-time feedback, and improve the product.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Operations to define clear, actionable requirements for new features and enhancements.
  • Scope and document user stories and technical requirements with precision, facilitating seamless communication with engineers.
  • Regularly reprioritize and stack rank the product backlog based on internal team feedback, operational impact, and company goals.
  • Focus on rapid iteration to reduce cycle time between product feedback and feature rollout.
  • Become a subject matter expert in warehouse operations and how Stord’s WMS fits into broader supply chain workflows.
  • Use data-driven insights and qualitative feedback to adjust the roadmap and align with operational priorities.
  • Continuously enhance your understanding of Stord’s competitive position and ensure our product delivers value across internal and external use cases.
What You’ll Need:
  • A background in supply chain operations or hands-on experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), either as a Product Manage, SuperUser, Solutions or Implementation Engineer.
  • Familiarity with warehouse workflows, operational metrics (OPH, UPH, Cycle Time, etc.), and a strong focus on improving efficiency.
  • A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to take direction from operations teams and quickly translate their needs into deliverables.
  • A passion for working on internal tools and prioritizing operational impact.
  • Ability to prioritize ruthlessly, balance competing demands, and ensure alignment between engineering efforts and operational goals.
  • Willingness to spend a minimum of three days per week onsite in the warehouse to immerse yourself in workflows and collaborate closely with the team.
  • Self-starter mentality with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to align cross-functional teams and articulate requirements effectively.

  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
