Product Manager- Reporting

North- Remote, US in Eastern or Central Time

North Product Management is dedicated to building industry-leading, innovative, user-first products within FinTech. As a Product Manager, you are responsible for defining product vision and strategy and driving product initiatives from discovery to delivery. You serve to connect the dots between the business and technology and inspire the teams you work with. You build products for the end user, prioritizing and solving their opportunities and problems while ensuring business value. 

 

Our team is high profile and highly influential. This is a cross-functional role - you will work closely with product management teams, UX/UI, engineering, marketing, finance, legal, risk, compliance, sales, etc. in order to identify and translate business and customer needs. You will ensure on-time delivery of new feature launches, test their performance, and know how to iterate quickly.

What you'll be doing:

  • Define product vision and strategy and own the roadmap.
  • Lead product initiatives through discovery, design, delivery, and deduction.
  • Research and validate product initiatives.
  • Define, document, and review requirements with stakeholders and engineering.
  • Facilitate beta testing to recommend improvements to product prior to launch.
  • Communicate development status and go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop and write training content to ensure alignment of product knowledge internally and externally (sales).
  • Define and analyze data driven metrics that inform success.
  • Champion the merchant and their customers to offer a stable, secure, and seamless payments experience.
  • Collect and prioritize feedback and requests from merchants, sales partners, and the organization.
  • Research and understand industry trends and the competitive landscape.

What we need from you:

  • BA/BS in a quantitative or technical field.
  • 2+ years experience in product management in the financial services coupled with deep knowledge and passion for payments.
  • Experience in business operations and reporting preferred.
  • Experience in accounting or inventory management SaaS is preferred.
  • Creative and strategic product thinker.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to identify user challenges and needs.
  • Ability to positively influence others and maintain effective business relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work through uncertainty.
  • Proven track record of building products from inception to execution.
  • Knowledge of FinTech and/or payments.
  • Working knowledge of the agile development process.

Salary Range: $100,000- $130,000

Pay within this range varies by work location and on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We look forward to discussing your salary expectations and our full total rewards offerings throughout the interview process.
