About Tribe.

At Tribe, we help enterprises realize the value of AI for their business. Every large enterprise wants AI to transform how it operates — most have the tools, not the results. That gap is our opportunity.

We're an AI-native services company. We embed with enterprises to build AI products that ship — and stay — in production. We partner closely with OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, which gives us rare visibility into the most advanced models, roadmaps, and GTM strategies in the world.

About the role.

Tribe's best marketing already exists — it's the work our builders ship. Nobody owns telling those stories yet. That's the job.

We're hiring a Customer Marketing Lead to turn the work Tribe ships into the evidence that wins the next deal. You'll surface the customer stories, business outcomes, and proof points inside our delivery work — and turn them into material enterprise executives, sellers, and partners actually use. You'll write the positioning as our offerings become repeatable. You'll build the library, and the system that keeps it filling.

This is a zero-to-one, player-coach role based in New York, reporting to our co-founder Jackie. You'll run the function as a team of one and work out how it scales. Jackie is deeply engaged in this work — feedback is fast and direct, and pushing back when you're right is part of the job.

There is no launch calendar here. Tribe's rhythm comes from client engagements — every one bespoke, every story earned. The craft at the center of this job is sitting in a fifty-minute technical debrief and finding the two-minute insight that becomes the story.

What you'll own.Customer marketing and evidence — the core of the role
  • Story extraction — surface the customer stories, business outcomes, and proof points inside Tribe's delivery work.

  • Material that gets used — case studies, proof points, and deployment evidence that hold up to a technical reader.

  • The library — durable, searchable, and filling by process, not heroics.

  • Builder voices — work with Tribe's senior builders to turn their experience into credible content that keeps their point of view.

  • The feedback loop — bring customer and market insight back into product and commercial decisions.

Positioning and messaging
  • Positioning — translate delivery work into value propositions and differentiators enterprise executives care about.

  • Repeatable offerings — work with product and delivery leaders on which capabilities are becoming offerings, and write the positioning and the one-sentence claim for each.

  • Language that lives in deals — sellers use your words in real conversations, and you keep sharpening them until they do.

Partner marketing
  • Partner evidence — package customer proof for Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI so their field teams recognize the right opportunities for Tribe.

  • Co-marketing — build material with strategic partners as the motion grows.

About you.
  • 8–12 years in customer or product marketing for enterprise technology or technical services. You owned the whole function — strategy through the writing itself.

  • An exceptional storyteller. You find the insight in a messy technical debrief, and your samples hold up to a technical reader.

  • Fluent with enterprise buyers — what they care about, and the language that lands.

  • A zero-to-one builder. A function, a program, or a library where none existed — shipped while you built it.

  • You bring structure to ambiguity, prioritize visibly, and can defend what you deliberately skipped.

  • Low ego. High bar.

Why join Tribe.
  • Build the function. Define how customer marketing works at Tribe, own it end to end, and shape how it scales.

  • Work at the frontier. Get close to the teams and companies defining enterprise AI.

  • Make real work visible. Turn years of production experience into an advantage the market understands.

  • Work directly with the founders. Your work sits at the center of how Tribe tells its story.

  • Work AI-natively. AI is how the company operates. You'll learn the craft by doing the work, then build the systems that scale it.

Come build with us.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
