Job Description Summary:

ModMed is hiring a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Marketing team—you’ll support our Professional Services and Data solutions. This role focuses on key buyer personas, including clinical, operational (front office), and financial (back office). Product Marketing Managers at ModMed are experts on these personas, continually deepening their understanding of their desires, motivations, and goals to provide them with more effective support through the best use of MMI products and services. By moving beyond surface-level process and focusing on hard differentiation and clinical benefits, our PMMs develop the messaging, positioning, and sales materials that enable prospects to progress faster through the sales funnel.

Your Role:

  • Serve as an internal and external evangelist for your product line, delivering high-energy presentations and thought leadership of your assigned solution.

  • Develop the annual product marketing plan for their respective persona across all relevant ModMed products and services.

  • Ushers relevant product and services launches for their persona through the concept-to-market process (product idea to launch), working with the ELT team, to review, approve, and ensure ongoing organizational launch readiness.

  • Develop messaging and positioning that highlights specific, tangible benefits and clear technical differentiation that sets ModMed apart from the competition.

  • Develops compelling sales enablement materials: website content, blog posts, white papers, webinars, videos, slide decks, and data sheets. Partners with sales enablement to deliver training.

  • Crafts and continually refines the story to unlock the potential of our products and services, helping our customers deliver better care to their patients through our solutions.

  • Leads the ongoing updates of competitor info, including battlecard updates, for competitors unique to their persona. Feeds competitive insights into the cross-specialty, cross-persona battlecards.

  • Identify key trends, market drivers, and customer requirements for products and services across specialties, serving as a subject-matter expert and sharing this information with the sales and product teams.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing; MBA preferred.

  • Certification(s) from Product Marketing Alliance or Pragmatic Institute (preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) product marketing with a proven track record of success in mid-sized to large organizations (preferably $400M+ revenue or PE-backed) where you have managed product marketing at a national or global scale.

  • Experience in a B2B environment with high-tech SaaS products/services in healthcare is required.

  • Deep understanding of structured product marketing frameworks (e.g., Pragmatic Institute) with an emphasis on execution over theory.

  • Ability to provide a portfolio of original writing samples that demonstrate your ability to simplify complex technical or clinical topics for a professional audience.

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

  • Prefer local talent in South Florida for a hybrid work schedule at our Boca Raton, FL headquarters. We are open to considering non-local candidates with health-tech product marketing experience who can travel domestically up to 15% and are willing to work during eastern business hours.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
