Pay Scale: $30 - $35 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily production scheduling and work priority management
- Help determine what is the highest priority and what can be deferred, based on schedules, materials, and capacity
- Release, track, and update work orders and production travelers
- Act as a point of contact between production and quality to keep work moving efficiently
- Proactively identify delays, shortages, or bottlenecks
- Support expediting of parts or jobs needed to meet critical delivery dates
- Update ERP/MRP systems with accurate production status information
- Assist with production meetings, schedule reviews, and daily shop-floor communication
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback
- Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
- Experience: 1- 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, scheduling, or shop- floor support.
- Experience working around machinery or manufacturing equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with production teams, supervisors, and leadership
- Ability to prioritize tasks, shift focus quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills: experience with ERP/MRP systems strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, or lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces (if applicable)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or on call as needed
- Constant exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Constant reaching, grasping and fine manipulation with both hands and arms.
- Constant standing and moving.
- Occasional bending/squatting.
- Occasional repetitive motion.
- Occasional sitting at a workstation using a computer.
Definitions:
- Constant (67-100% of shift)
- Frequent (34-66% of shift)
- Occasional (11-33% of shift)
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing/industrial setting with moving machinery and equipment
- Exposure to noise, dust, and chemical odors (monitored and regulated by EHS)
- Temperature fluctuations based on weather and facility conditions
- PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, aprons, boots, respirator, etc.)

SALARY DESCRIPTION
- Compensation Range: $30- 35 per hour DOE
