About the Role

Skydio is seeking an experienced Program Manager, Commercial Programs to lead the implementation, deployment, and successful transition of our autonomous drone solutions for a major enterprise customer. This customer-facing role sits within our Mission Success organization and is critical to delivering high-impact dock-based UAS programs focused on site security and operational efficiency.

You will own end-to-end program execution - from planning and deployment through operational handoff and long-term program stabilization. This is a complex, multi-phase engagement requiring strong coordination across technical, operational, and regulatory work-streams as the customer moves toward an internally operated, enterprise-scale drone program.

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas (On-site / Hybrid)

What You'll Work On:

  • Lead planning and execution of dock-based autonomous UAS deployments and program transitions

  • Drive operational readiness and successful handoff from vendor-supported to customer-led operations

  • Partner with the customer to develop and implement enterprise governance, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training programs, and Safety Management System (SMS) elements

  • Manage program scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across hardware, software integrations, regulatory compliance, and operational workflows

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal Skydio teams (Field Engineering, Training, Regulatory, Product, and Support)

  • Support regulatory milestones and compliance requirements for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer, stakeholder alignment, and change management to enable long-term customer adoption

  • Deliver executive-level program reporting and periodic business reviews

  • Contribute to program scaling strategy across multiple site types and use cases

Requirements:

  • PMP certification (Project Management Professional) required

  • 5+ years of experience as a customer-facing Program Manager or Professional Services PM delivering complex, multi-phase technology programs

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale implementations involving hardware, software, operational workflows, and regulatory/compliance elements

  • Strong experience developing SOPs, training programs, and operational documentation

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive presentations

  • Demonstrated success transitioning customers from vendor-managed to self-operated technology programs

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and manage multiple work-streams effectively

  • Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged for all Skydio employees and required for certain positions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS), dock-based platforms, or remote operations

  • Background in aviation, physical security, or enterprise safety programs

  • Familiarity with FAA regulations (Part 107, Part 108, BVLOS) and Safety Management Systems (SMS)

  • Experience working with large retail, supply chain, or enterprise customers
