- Role Summary: As a Non-IT Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a planning process that drives continuous planning for a 500-person organization. Your role will be crucial in aligning investments with organizational objectives and driving collaboration across teams and departments.

 

4. What are the key responsibilities?

- Continuous Planning

  - Implement and drive continuous planning process for a 500-person organization.

  - Update and manage unified intake process for project and initiative proposals.

  - Develop and maintain a prioritization framework to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

  - Update and manage unified intake process for proposed work.

  - Define and utilize planning dashboards to provide visibility into incoming requests and committed plan.

- Dependency Management

  - Establish and manage a dependency management process for seamless coordination across projects and teams.

  - Develop a change request process to handle modifications to plans and initiatives efficiently.

- Collaboration and Communication

  - Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure alignment and effective planning.

  - Work closely with Portfolio Management + Operations team to communicate plans and progress.

- Process Improvement

  - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and integrate relevant practices into processes.

 

5. What experience are we looking for to drive success?

- MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:

  - Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field.

  - Proven experience in implementing and managing planning processes and prioritization frameworks.

  - Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and change management.

  - Proficiency in project management and reporting tools such as Azure DevOps/JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project, Planner, and PowerBI/Tableau.

- Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  - PMI or PMP certification.

  - 8-10 years of experience in program management and technical knowledge.
