Overview 

We're seeking an experienced Program Manager to support reporting and program needs through the use of SmartSheet across the organization. You will be working with multiple project managers to design and create a feature rich SmartSheet environment that will facilitate enterprise wide planning and coordination. Responsibilities include designing solutions and documenting changes, testing updates, improving efficiency, and applying AI where beneficial. This role will partner with cross functional teams to manage shifting priorities and communicate clearly with clients. The position requires working independently, solving problems quickly, and delivering clean, reliable outcomes. Strong proficiency in SmartSheet and Microsoft Office are required to develop and maintain solutions.  This position can be remote but candidates must be able to work EST hours daily. Ideally, qualified candidates in the Northeast USA are highly preferred. Please note, we are unable to provide any Visa sponsorship, now or in the future, for this consulting role.

Responsibilities 


  • Design, build and manage a SmartSheet environment to facilitate cross department project management tracking
  • Leverage the SmartSheet tool- this includes sheets, reports, dashboards, formulas, automation and calendar app
  • Rapid creation of new SmartSheet programmatic flows and automation of client requirements
  • Apply project, program and portfolio management principles to solution outcomes
  • Identify client requirements, designs and develops Smartsheet programmatic flows and associated automation for reporting requirements and processes
  • Provide recommendations including definition of functional and technical capabilities, including features and automation
  • Create documentation for automation modification and maintenance
  • Develop testing environment and associated testing procedures and programs
  • Build integrations with external services as required
  • Work with Excel with moderate level formulas and data analysis with graphs
  • Work with MSOffice suite including basic knowledge of power automate
  • Apply AI where needed to accelerate work and gain efficiency

Requirements

Candidates must have strong SmartSheet expertise in the context of project and program management, process optimization, executive level communications, and KPI analysis and reporting. Candidates must have the following:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in project, program and portfolio management.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Smartsheet including knowledge of sheets, reports, dashboards, formula (medium complexity), automation, datashuttle, calendar app
  • Strong experience with MSOffice.
  • Analytical thinking and solution development.
  • Proven business acumen as a professional in client-facing roles
  • Fast learner of the business and ability to make connections to find efficient solutions.
  • Proven ability to work with team members in a cross-functional environment
  • Proven ability to pivot and adapt when needed
  • Strong and effective communication with clients at any level including Executives
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized personality
  • Intent on problem solving in a holistic manner, in tight timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field is required
  • MBA is helpful
