We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team!
Program Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and manage programs supporting the acquisition, modernization, sustainment, and integration of AMO aviation and maritime systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and program execution
- Develop and implement program management plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, policies, and CBP standards
Engineering & Technical Support Coordination
- Oversee engineering and technical support for aircraft systems, including radars, sensors, and C4I systems (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence)
- Coordinate efforts to ensure airworthiness, system performance, and lifecycle sustainment of aviation assets
- Support modernization initiatives and integration of emerging technologies
Requirements Development
- Lead the analysis, development, and documentation of operational and technical requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate mission needs into actionable program requirements
- Ensure traceability and alignment of requirements throughout the program lifecycle
Aircraft Maintenance Support
- Provide oversight of contractor support for aircraft maintenance activities, including heavy maintenance and depot-level operations
- Ensure maintenance programs meet operational readiness, safety, and compliance standards
- Monitor performance metrics related to fleet availability and reliability
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Align program activities with AMO’s strategic objectives and mission priorities
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across program operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Program Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in program management, preferably supporting federal agencies or defense programs
- Experience with aviation systems, maritime operations, or law enforcement support environments
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering, lifecycle management, and maintenance operations
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary programs
- Top Secret (or ability to obtain and maintain). Employment requires a favorable CBP
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification
- Background Investigation while Top Secret Clearance is pending.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DHS or CBP programs, particularly within Air and Marine Operations
- Familiarity with aviation maintenance and airworthiness standards
- Knowledge of C4I systems, sensors, and surveillance technologies
