Job Description
Join a high-performing team of innovators dedicated to positioning BAE Systems as an industry leader. We are seeking a Proposal Analyst to lead all Bill of Materials (BOM) activities throughout the proposal lifecycle. Reporting to the CMS Proposal Manager, you will be accountable for the technical integrity, financial accuracy, schedule adherence, and overall compliance of the BOM for CMS proposals. Key Responsibilities
  • BOM Leadership: Lead the development and validation of the Proposal BOM, ensuring total accuracy and alignment with proposal requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop strategic proposal outlines, manage compliance components, and drive adherence to proposal schedules.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide guidance to cross-functional teams and partner with non-price proposal writers to ensure technical and financial consistency.
  • Estimation Support: Collaborate with Cost Volume (Estimation) Leads to develop precise cost estimates.
  • Project Management: Conduct daily and weekly checkpoints to ensure milestones are met and proactively resolve barriers to quality and timeliness.
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with Operations and Program Management to ensure technical and execution strategies are clear, concise, and fully compliant.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Supply Chain Proposals
  • Procurement Process Knowledge / Experience
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Experience with ERP
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Ability to manage resources in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects with tight schedules
  • Strong excel skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge - i.e. Macros, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), etc.
  • Experienced in Oracle ERP/OBIEE a plus
  • Data Analytics/Financial Analysis Skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92180 - $156707
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
