Job Summary:
The Seattle Northgate office is looking for a Receptionist/Marketing Assistant to join our growing firm. The primary role is to support the Seattle team and continue the cultivation of our culture, our influence in the northwest region and the support our staff and clients of Salas O’Brien, a growing national Architecture and Engineering company.
Responsibilities:
Front Desk/Receptionist:
- Welcome visitors and answer phones for multiple offices
- Accept packages and prepare materials for shipping, Fed Ex / UPS, etc.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and misc. deliveries
- Opening and closing of the office
- Inventory and ordering supplies
- Assist with the planning and coordination of office events, including client meetings, office lunches, parties, and travel planning
- Filing and various administrative work
- Scan drawings and set up files per managers requests
- Various projects as assigned by Supervisor
- Maintain copier with paper and toner
- Cleaning communal spaces as needed
Marketing:
- Assist marketing team with:
- Pipeline tracking and project set up. Tasks including data entry and project file creation
- Support team building, event planning, client appreciation events, marketing tradeshows, conferences, and other events as needed.
- Updating and creating marketing materials in InDesign. Tasks including qualifications, branding, and advertising.
- Support and help maintain digital libraries and digital asset management system including marketing material, files, records.
Qualifications and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you need to meet the following basic requirements:
- Minimum education – high school diploma required
- Bachelor of Science/Art degree in marketing, advertising, business, engineering, or related field (a plus)
- Data Entry Experience with Deltek Vision or similar accounting software (a plus)
- Proficient in all Adobe Programs (including InDesign & Photoshop), Microsoft Office Suite, and other graphic programs (a plus)
- Administrative experience in a professional environment
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently

Position: Full time, in-office, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.

The base salary range for this position is $23 to $26 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
