Directs the business operations related to revenue cycle, academic affairs, new and current business strategy analysis and communications. Oversees the Project Management Department and directs complex, cross-functional initiatives that support the health system’s strategic, operational, and clinical goals. Provides end-to-end project management to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborates with clinical, administrative, and technical leaders to coordinate resources, improve processes, and drive organizational performance. Requires strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Bachelors Degree in business, healthcare, or other related field

EXPERIENCE:

1. Eight (8) years of experience in healthcare leadership positions with knowledge of program development, marketing, information technology, and strategic analysis.

To be completed as established by department: (Administered at Department level)

1. Black Belt issued by Six Sigma (CSSMBB)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Master’s Degree in business, healthcare or other related field

EXPERIENCE:

1. Experience working with EPIC.

1. Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project success, financial performance, and operational impact

2. Identifies and implements solutions in areas of opportunities and coordinates improvement activities to gain operational and clinical efficiencies.

3. Hires, fires manages and evaluates the performance of employees. Responsible for all human resource functions of assigned department(s).

4 Directs and mentors a team of project managers, analysts, and coordinators, fostering professional growth and maintaining a high-performance culture.

5. Completes monitoring and evaluation of potential new services and sites of expansion, as well as evaluation of existing services and sites and provides feedback to leadership.

6 Provides executive-level dashboards and presentations summarizing portfolio performance, risks, and strategic outcomes.

7. Maximizes revenue cycle and clinical and financial accountability through process improvement of provider documentation, coding, billing, denials management, templates, EPIC and IT resources.

8 . Utilizes data and analytics to drive continuous improvement and ensure project management maturity across the organization. 

9. Promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across all project teams and stakeholders.

10. Develops community educational services and partnerships to improve referral performance for all services and sites.

11. Partners with executive and clinical leadership to define strategic priorities, evaluate organizational readiness, and ensure initiatives align with long-term operational and patient care goals.

5. Strong Computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint – EPIC preferred.
