FLSA STATUS: Exempt, Full-time

SALARY RANGE: $70,000-$90,000

The Regional Financial Analyst supports financial decision-making by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data. This role performs simple to moderately complex financial and operational analysis to support short-term and long-range strategic plans, forecasting, and operating budgets.

This position is a four-year grant funded role, funded through September 30, 2030. Continuation of the position is contingent upon grant funding and will conclude when funding for the grant ends or at the end of the grant period.
The Regional Financial Analyst is a grant funded position which supports the launch of the Lake Charles campus (Fall 2027) and the expansion of the existing Harveston campus in Baton Rouge. The position will also support the opening a third campus by the end of the grant period. 

Support Leadership with replication and expansion campuses in Great Hearts Louisiana through:

• Updating and maintaining financial models, creating and maintaining short and long term forecasts including cash flows for multiple campuses.
• Partnering with Academy and CMO staff to support annual budget development process.
• Interface with Academy leadership monthly to review and analyze financial statements.
• Support Academy and CMO Leadership with monitoring expansion projects and associated costs as necessary
• Cross coordinate with Accounting to ensure accuracy of financial reports
• Cross coordinate with Grant Accounting Teams to ensure grant compliance alignment with budgeted grant allocations and state and federal reporting requirements.
• Support development of grant programs procedures

• Prepare internal and external Financial Reporting including preparation of quarterly board reports and state reporting.
• Support the Annual Audit Process
• Assist with Compliance Monitoring through identification and/or documentation of Polices and Procedures, including revisions needed, to ensure compliance
• Identify and communicate any internal control issues

Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field at minimum.

Experience: 4-6+ years of accounting or finance work experience preferred. Experience in education preferred. This range is intended to bridge Financial Analyst II and Financial Analyst III responsibilities.

• Experience with Workday and Workday Adaptive or other financial systems.
• Demonstrates the ability to create and use financial models for evaluation and decision-making.

• Ability to develop positive and professional relationships with team members, Headmasters, and Home Office department leadership.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Type of fingerprint clearance

Must possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card or Louisiana and any new region equivalent.

Physical functions

Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately.

Travel required

Will need to travel locally to the various academies.
