Your Team & Role

This position is available to candidates working from eligible states in the Midwest and Eastern U.S. We are unable to employ candidates whose work location is in New York, New Jersey, California, Washington, Oregon, Massachusetts, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Maine, or Delaware. Please indicate the state from which you would work when applying.

Role

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic sales leader to lead Zadara’s North America sales organization and help drive our next stage of growth.

As North America Regional Sales Leader  you’ll own the strategy and execution for the region, leading and developing a high-performing sales team, expanding our enterprise customer base, strengthening key customer and partner relationships, and creating a disciplined approach to pipeline development and revenue growth.

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who knows how to balance strategy with execution. You’ll be expected to understand the market, recognize opportunities, stay close to the business, and help your team successfully navigate complex enterprise sales cycles.

Success in this Role

You’ll know you’re succeeding when North America has a strong and predictable pipeline, the team is consistently executing against its goals, our enterprise customer footprint is growing, and Zadara is building deeper, more strategic relationships across the region.

You’ll have built a sales organization that doesn’t just deliver results, it is positioned to scale and sustain them.

Your day to day

You’ll set the direction for North America Sales and Marketing and translate Zadara’s broader business objectives into a focused regional sales strategy. That means establishing clear priorities and goals, building a healthy and predictable pipeline, maintaining strong forecasting discipline, and ensuring the team has the direction, resources, and support needed to deliver results.

Just as importantly, you’ll be a leader of people. You’ll coach and develop the team, establish clear expectations and accountability, recognize and grow talent, and create an environment where strong sales professionals can succeed.

You’ll also be a visible presence with our customers and in the market, building executive relationships, supporting strategic opportunities, identifying new areas for growth, and helping customers understand the value Zadara can bring to their business.

Success will require strong partnership across the global organization. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Channel and Strategic Partnerships, Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, and other teams to create opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver a seamless experience throughout the sales cycle.

What you bring

You are an experienced B2B technology sales leader who has successfully grown revenue, developed sales teams, and built lasting enterprise customer relationships. You understand that strong sales leadership is about more than hitting a number - it’s about creating the strategy, discipline, talent, and customer focus that make sustainable growth possible.

You bring 10+ years of progressive B2B technology sales experience, including 5+ years leading sales teams, with cloud infrastructure, enterprise technology, or related experience strongly preferred.

Proven track record of managing and consistently exceeding a $10M+ annual revenue target / ARR quota

You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where leaders are expected to be strategic, collaborative, hands-on, and accountable for results. You know your numbers, understand your pipeline, and can move comfortably between an executive customer conversation, a strategic planning discussion, and a coaching session with a member of your team.

Most importantly, you lead by example and create a culture of accountability, collaboration, achievement, and respect.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
