About Standard Bots

Standard Bots is a fast-growing robotics startup building cutting-edge automation solutions that transform how industries operate. Our team combines deep technical expertise with a passion for innovation, bringing advanced robotics technologies to manufacturing, logistics, and industrial environments.

We’re looking for a driven and knowledgeable Regional Sales Manager who can connect our groundbreaking technology with the right customers and help accelerate our market growth.

What you'll do

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the west coast territory. You’ll work closely with the engineering and product teams to understand customer needs and translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions.

Note: This role is remote-friendly but candidates must reside in the U.S. West Coast — ideally California, but open to Arizona or Nevada.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, integrators, and channel partners

  • Understand customer challenges and align them with our robotics solutions

  • Lead the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing

  • Collaborate with the technical team to tailor demos, proposals, and solutions for each customer

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences

  • Provide market insights and feedback to inform product development and strategy

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in robotics, industrial automation, or related technology fields

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong understanding of automation technologies, robotics integration, and industrial workflows

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a startup environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of contacts within manufacturing or automation sectors

  • Experience selling complex capital equipment or SaaS-based automation platforms

  • Familiarity with industrial robotics, machine vision, or motion control systems

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $150,000 (plus uncapped target based incentives). We are open to a variety of seniority levels for this role and will build compensation packages that are commensurate with seniority and skill level. Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation — all Full-Time Employees are eligible for Employee Stock Options. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
