Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, Cloud Sales, the Regional Sales Specialist acts as the primary point of contact for end-customer selling initiatives within the assigned California territory. In this role, you will proactively manage customer relationships, drive cloud access control revenue, and expand market share across key commercial verticals. Working alongside the Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) Channel Sales Executive (CSE) team, you will serve as the internal subject matter expert for Alta Access control solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Territory Strategy

  • Proactively manage end-customer relationships and deploy sales strategies to achieve territory revenue targets

  • Develop new business and expand existing accounts for Motorola Solutions' cloud-based Access Control portfolio

  • Partner with vertical marketing teams to identify end-user engagement opportunities across trade shows, conferences, and industry associations

Collaborative Channel Execution

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for cloud access control solutions across the internal sales ecosystem

  • Support regional sales activities by creating, nurturing, and responding to opportunities for Alta Access control solutions

  • Conduct joint sales calls, product demonstrations, facility walk-throughs, and project quoting alongside the VS&A CSE team

Sales Operations & Account Management

  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline data to reflect account development and opportunity progression

  • Deliver sales forecasting and territory reporting as required by sales leadership

  • Build collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams to drive continuous market share growth

Job Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Access Control Solutions to present technical capabilities and demonstrate Alta Access software to end customers

  • Technical Acumen to communicate solution architecture and value propositions effectively

  • Software Proficiency to quickly learn, operate, and showcase cloud-based security software

  • Productivity Tools to manage workflow through functional understanding of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Apps, including Excel/Sheets

  • English Proficiency to articulate complex technical concepts through clear verbal and written communication

Professional Experience

  • Relationship Management to establish trust and develop collaborative partnerships with enterprise customers and channel teams

  • Presentation Skills to deliver engaging solution demos, local roadshow presentations, and project proposals

  • Time Management to prioritize multiple sales initiatives in a fast-paced field environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Physical security solutions sales experience

  • Experience working with channel strategies and go-to-market initiatives

  • Established client base in the assigned territory

Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 USD
