Booker DiMaio is building a technical support team for a newly awarded Internal Revenue Service contract supporting SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365. We are seeking an experienced Federal IT Project Manager - Microsoft 365 / SharePoint to provide day-to-day contract and project management and serve as the primary interface with IRS project authorities and representatives.
The Federal IT Project Manager - Microsoft 365 / SharePoint will supervise project operations, plan and direct execution across multiple workstreams, monitor and report progress, manage schedules and workload, coordinate with the COR and Program Manager, and oversee financial and administrative aspects of the effort. The role will also help establish and enforce work standards, coordinate deliverables and updates, and ensure the team provides responsive, high-quality technical support.

The role will also help establish and enforce work standards, coordinate deliverables and updates, and ensure the team provides responsive, high-quality technical support.
Security / Eligibility Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status with at least three consecutive years of U.S. residency from the date of legal entry as an LPR.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain IRS staff-like access and successfully complete the required Moderate Risk background investigation and security screening process.
- Background investigation and onboarding requirements will be initiated following selection.
- Must successfully complete applicable IRS personnel-security requirements, including fingerprinting, security training, and related screening requirements.
- IRS staff-like access is subject to applicable IRS eligibility and suitability requirements and must be maintained for the duration of the engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional experience supporting U.S. Federal Government programs or federal government customers.
- Demonstrated experience managing technical projects and/or contracts.
- Strong project planning, organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, schedules, and deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with technical teams and government or enterprise customers is strongly relevant.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and related collaboration technologies is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day management of the contract and serve as the primary interface with IRS technical and contract administration representatives.
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and monitor project execution across multiple technical workstreams.
- Manage schedules, workload, priorities, deliverables, and project status reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the COR and Program Manager to address priorities, issues, risks, and resource needs.
- Supervise project operations and ensure established work standards and procedures are followed.
- Manage financial and administrative aspects of the project and provide required project updates, including AWARE or other designated reporting.
- Coordinate the activities of technical staff and ensure work remains aligned with IRS requirements and customer needs.
