ABOUT THE POSITION

The Repairs Processor will report to the Repairs Supervisor and will have frequent contact with employees throughout the organization. This position is an integral part of the repair process, and will be responsible for receiving new repairs, entering data throughout the process, and taking initiative to maintain daily processes, perform warranty evaluations and audits on repairs, plus other duties as assigned.  

Responsibilities

  • Perform warranty evaluations and work analysis (audits) on incoming repairs  
  • Inspect finished repairs for quality issues 
  • Understand, communicate, and maintain daily processes on the repair floor and in the office 
  • Set performance goals, track metrics, and identify roadblocks 
  • Manage department supply inventory levels 
  • Track & supply parts to other departments as needed 
  • Set daily goals for operators; answer operator questions; hold operators accountable in terms of both quantity and quality 
  • Assist in training new operators and coaching current operators on repairs methods as necessary 
  • Must be able to enter data accurately and efficiently 
  • Willing to work as a team to turn projects around quickly 
  • Ability to proactively trouble-shoot and problem solve 
  • Log and track repairs at different stages of the process 
  • Open boxes and prepare repairs for first audit 
  • Assist other Repairs Team members as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

  • GED or high school equivalent  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows  
  • Relentlessly organized, analytically minded 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment; Vietnamese and Cantonese language skills a plus
