WE'RE LUMA HEALTH.

Needing healthcare can be hard. Getting care shouldn't be.

We built Luma Health because we are all patients. We believe it should be easy to see and connect with our doctor, and to get the care we need, when we need it.

So we've created solutions to fix this problem. Our technology makes messaging easier, scheduling appointments more efficient, and it modernizes care delivery from beginning to end.

We're growing our sales team and looking for a Sales Manager to help us scale how we support our Account Executives and grow revenue.

Sales Manager

About the Role

Luma Health is hiring a Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives. This is a hands-on people leadership role for someone who brings strong healthcare technology sales experience, rigorous forecasting habits, and a practical coaching style.

You'll initially manage ~4-5 AEs, supporting them across pipeline development, deal strategy, qualification, discovery, executive communication, and closing. This role does not carry an individual sales quota, though you'll be expected to actively support the team in advancing and closing opportunities.

What you'll do

  • Coach and develop your team of Account Executives to consistently hit quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Establish forecast rigor, pipeline hygiene, and deal inspection practices
  • Partner with AEs on account strategy, discovery, sales calls, executive presentations, proposals, and closing plans
  • Provide direct, actionable coaching on prospecting, outreach, call preparation, qualification, objection handling, and sales execution
  • Use data and CRM reporting to flag risk, improve pipeline health, and drive accountability
  • Build a high performance, collaborative, customer focused team culture
  • Support onboarding and ramp for new AEs
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and other cross-functional teams to improve go-to-market execution
  • Help refine sales processes, methodologies, and best practices as the sales org scales

What you'll bring

  • 2–5 years of sales management experience, ideally leading B2B SaaS Account Executives
  • Experience selling into healthcare or healthcare technology
  • A track record of coaching AEs through complex sales cycles and improving performance
  • Strong command of sales forecasting, pipeline management, CRM hygiene, and quarterly planning
  • Experience applying structured sales methodologies in real-world deal coaching
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on deal involvement
  • Strong communication skills and comfort engaging senior customer stakeholders
  • A high degree of empathy, accountability, and cultural alignment with a team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to work flexibly across U.S. time zones, including occasional early Pacific-time or later East Coast client meetings

Nice to have

  • Experience managing a small, growing AE team
  • Prior experience as a top-performing AE before moving into management
  • Familiarity with healthcare provider, patient access, or digital health sales
  • Experience using Salesforce and common sales engagement tools

Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Luma also will include target commissions + stock options + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision.)

Base Pay Range: $150,000-$160,000
