Position Summary:

Provides support for the administration of the Global Sales Commission Plan including interfacing with Sales Team Personnel to ensure timely and accurate sales commissions calculations for global sales team.  Ensures on a daily basis the integrity of the data used for commissions processing and works to further streamline and improve current processes within each calculation cycle.  Supports both the Sales Performance Management and Sales Departments with the analysis of sales commission related metrics to assist with plan design changes that best incentivize the sales force within department budget guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration of the Global Sales Commission Plans including monthly payment calculations

  • Manage new hires, promotions, and other changes in our commissions software program

  • Compile and manage various data sources inputs for commissions calculation software

  • Respond to commissions related inquiries

  • Monitor data exchange activity to third party software host and trouble shoot errors

  • Conduct software system testing for quality assurance

  • Create sales metrics reports that add value for sales management

  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, outliers to assist management with decision making

  • Build relationships with Sales Team members and provide quality customer service

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. 

  • Have great attention to detail

  • Ability to collaborate with geographically distributed teams

  • Be able to adapt to changes associated with a growing company

  • Multi-task in fast paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Have excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Experience with Commission Plan administration

  • Experience in a sales support capacity

  • Knowledge of sales processes and incentive programs

  • Familiarity with Xactly Incent, Connect, and Extend a plus

The estimated base salary range for the Sales Operations Analyst - Compensation Administration role based in the United States of America is: $68,400 - $102,600. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. The range reflects long‑term growth in the role. Most candidates are hired between the minimum and middle of the range. Placement depends on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
