Position Overview

The Sales Representative at AAA Fire Protection Inc. is responsible for driving outbound sales, building and maintaining referral relationships, and managing all aspects of the sales cycle for the company’s portfolio of fire inspection, testing, and monitoring services. The role entails identifying, acquiring, and renewing recurring service contracts, developing and implementing sales strategies in collaboration with the leadership team, and consistently utilizing company-provided customer relationship management software. The individual must foster long-term customer relationships, operate a company vehicle, manage independent scheduling, and ensure a professional, productive, and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell and renew AAA Fire’s testing, inspection, and maintenance services to multifamily, commercial, and other key market segments within the assigned territory or service line portfolio.
  • Build relationships with prospective and current customers, converting sales targets into clients through regular face-to-face meetings, industry events, and effective marketing efforts.
  • Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline through in-house leads, cold calling, and self-directed hunting and harvesting efforts.
  • Utilize company CRM software to track sales activities, action plans, deal status, and renewal follow-ups.
  • Act as the primary contact throughout the customer lifecycle, shepherding new clients through onboarding in partnership with technical and inspection teams.
  • Conduct site surveys and produce detailed estimates and proposals using company-provided or cloud-based service software, optimizing profitability and job accuracy.
  • Work closely with technicians, managers, and inspection teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of proposed services and troubleshoot operational challenges.
  • Represent AAA Fire Protection at industry associations and regulatory events, including occasional weekend work as needed.
  • Educate prospective customers on the benefits of partnering with AAA Fire and remain knowledgeable about all service lines, warranties, and product capabilities.
  • Assist in re-bid opportunities for existing customers and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all company policies, safety requirements, and vehicle/driving procedures, including timely reporting of operational or safety issues and maintaining accurate time records using company-provided systems.
  • Immediately notify supervisors of equipment breakdowns, malfunctions, or unsafe working conditions.

Pay Range:

  • Salary range $60K to $85K per year plus commissions
  • $125k–$185k On-Target Earnings (OTE)

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, high standards for accuracy and follow-through, and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Assertive and professionally persistent, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules, including overtime or weekends as needed to meet customer demands.
  • Proficient with iOS Apple hardware, operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and similar databases; experience with CRM or cloud-based service software preferred.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position subject to post-accident, reasonable suspicion, or contract-required drug testing.
