Founded in 2004, NetBrain is the leader in no-code network automation. Its ground-breaking Next-Gen platform provides IT operations teams with the ability to scale their hybrid multi-cloud connected networks by automating the processes associated with Diagnostic Troubleshooting, Outage Prevention and Protected Change Management.  Today, over 2,500 of the world’s largest enterprises and managed services providers leverage NetBrain’s platform.

What We Need

We're seeking a talented Salesforce Developer with 4–6 years of experience designing, building, and enhancing solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate combines strong Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) development skills with deep declarative automation expertise, particularly Flow. Experience with Salesforce CPQ is a plus. This role requires a collaborative professional who can architect scalable, maintainable solutions from complex business requirements while ensuring data integrity, security, and an exceptional user experience. Candidates based in the Eastern Time Zone are preferred to support team collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and Lightning Web Components to support multiple concurrent Salesforce initiatives.
  • Build declarative and programmatic automation using Flow and Apex, migrating legacy Process Builder logic to modern, scalable Flow or code-based solutions.
  • Extend and customize Salesforce CPQ functionality, including custom Product Rules, Pricing Rules, approval processes, and CPQ script/plugin development where needed.
  • Design and support system integrations, building and maintaining APIs, middleware connections, and integrated applications across platforms.
  • Partner with architects, admins, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical designs and scalable, well-documented solutions.
  • Lead user experience improvements through custom Lightning components, dynamic forms, and advanced page layouts.
  • Write and maintain unit tests, perform code reviews, and ensure configurations and code meet quality, performance, and coverage standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis on code and configuration, and resolve or guide resolution of escalated bugs.
  • Enforce data quality, security, and access control best practices, including roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing architecture.
  • Document technical designs, code, and processes to support ongoing system usage, training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Own release management activities, including deployment pipelines, version control, and sandbox strategy.

What You Bring

  • 4–6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex (classes, triggers, batch/schedulable jobs), Lightning Web Components, and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud data models and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of the Opportunity sales cycle and sales processes.
  • Advanced experience with declarative automation (Flow) combined with the judgment to know when to build programmatically instead, including migrating automation from Process Builder to Flow or Apex.
  • Experience extending Salesforce CPQ, including custom pricing logic, product rule configuration, and approval process customization (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of data management practices, including large-scale data migrations, integrations, and data quality architecture.
  • Experience designing user access models, sharing architecture, roles, profiles, and permission sets.
  • Agentforce and Data Cloud development experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to debug complex code and configuration issues, with strong root-cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to gather and interpret business requirements independently, translating them into scalable, well-architected technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including presenting technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
