The SAP FICO Consultant will analyze, design, and implement product costing processes, manage COPA setup, facilitate cross-functional integration, and drive configuration and optimization for the manufacturing sector.

KATBOTZ LLC is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated SAP FICO Consultant specializing in Product Costing, Overhead Allocations, Actual Costing, and Costing-Based COPA. The ideal candidate will bring 7–10 years of consultative experience across SAP ECC modules, expertly driving end-to-end costing solutions, process optimization, and value realization for manufacturing/industrial sector clients.

- Analyze, design, and implement Product Costing processes, including costing variant configuration, cost estimates, material ledger, and actual costing flows.
- Architect and configure costing sheets, overhead allocation cycles (plan/actual), and templates to support detailed indirect cost distribution using SAP ECC.
- Lead workshops and gather business requirements for end-to-end OM-CCA, CO-PC, and COPA solutions, driving system blueprint, testing, and documentation.
- Manage COPA costing-based setup: operating concern settings, characteristic derivations, valuation, data flows, and custom reporting.
- Facilitate integration points between CO and other SAP modules, including PP, MM, FI, and SD, ensuring seamless cost flows and reconciliations.
- Define cost center/profit center hierarchies, cost element categorization, and allocation methods tailored for complex scenarios.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7–10 years hands-on SAP ECC implementation/support experience in Controlling (CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-PA), with proven expertise in: Product Costing with multiple costing variants and material ledger scenarios
- Overhead allocation via costing sheets, templates, and activity types
- Actual costing, period-end closing, revaluation, and settlement flows
- Costing-based COPA configuration and reporting
- Deep understanding of cost objects, allocation cycles, cost absorption, and profitability analysis.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (finance, manufacturing, supply chain).
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to drive workshops and engage senior stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, independent, and results-oriented—demonstrated ability to drive tasks to completion with minimal oversight.
