Develop software and database infrastructure for semiconductor yield analysis, conduct statistical analysis, and communicate findings to team members.
General Description:
We are seeking a candidate to join an effort developing semiconductor, spin quantum bit devices and mature the project by improving device yield analysis software and database infrastructure
Essential Duties:
The candidate will develop database infrastructure to store data from electrical measurements collected at various cryogenic temperatures, inline fabrication metrology, and device designs.
The individual will then develop software to relate device yield to fabrication processes and designs.
The role involves using databases to extract critical information and statistical data analysis.
The position requires frequent technical communication with team members, including oral and written reporting, a strong work ethic, enjoyment of problem solving, and a natural scientific curiosity.
Required Skills:
Experience with python programming and best practices, including object oriented programming principles, version control, data structures, unit testing
Experience writing SQL queries for large datasets
Statistical analysis and design of experiments
Understanding of cleanroom fabrication equipment and processes
Semiconductor device physics
Reporting and documentation of test results with emphasis on statistical analysis, data visualization, trending. Experience generating data dashboards a plus.
Python instrument control is desired
SQL Table design is desired
Failure analysis, including materials characterization techniques is desired
Required Education:
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, applied physics, or related field; or Master’s degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor yield engineering field. Candidates with different experience levels will be considered for other positions.

US Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,715 - $150,895 + bonus + benefits.
