Our mission at HubSpot is to help millions of organizations grow better.

As a Senior AEO Growth Marketer, you’ll own the post-launch go-to-market strategy and growth motion for HubSpot AEO. You’ll be the dedicated marketing owner responsible for driving growth from AI visibility to demand generation for HubSpot AEO. This role combines answer engine optimization strategy, experimentation, and cross-functional execution to turn insights from answer engines and AEO experiments into scalable growth strategies and product recommendations. This role is ideal for a marketer who has experience in product marketing and specializes in answer engine optimization. You’ll join us in building the playbook for AEO.

What You’ll Do
  1. Own the post-launch GTM strategy and growth motion for HubSpot AEO
  2. Develop and execute AEO tactics that improve HubSpot’s visibility, citations, and brand presence across answer engines.
  3. Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Media, Web Strategy, International teams, and more to align on priorities and execution.
  4. Design and run AEO experiments across content, owned media, creators, partnerships, and review platforms to uncover scalable growth opportunities.
  5. Translate experiment findings into repeatable playbooks, future campaign strategy, and product recommendations that improve demand generation performance.
  6. Build reporting frameworks that connect AEO visibility to demand outcomes.
  7. Champion AI automation to improve marketing efficiency, experimentation velocity, and reporting workflows.
  8. Help shape the broader AI-era search strategy at HubSpot by contributing strategic insights, scalable playbooks, and operational best practices.

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, SEO, AEO, product marketing, or related digital growth roles.
  • Deep understanding of content strategy, search behavior, and AI-driven discovery trends.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SEO and answer engine optimization (AEO) – you can explain how AEO differs from traditional SEO and where the two intersect.
  • Experience implementing SEO/AEO tactics that improved brand visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude, and other answer engines.
  • Experience leading or materially shaping GTM strategy for a product, feature, or growth program, including launch planning, stakeholder alignment, and performance measurement.
