Our Story

TopDog Law is a nationally scaling personal injury firm that owns the client experience end to end, from marketing and intake through litigation. We've grown 2-3x year over year for three years running, and we're now building the operations, systems, and teams to scale without sacrificing quality or culture. We're fully remote, and we value ownership, open communication, and speed. If you want to help build something exceptional, you'll feel at home here.

The Opportunity

Top Dog Law is one of the fastest-growing personal injury law firms in the country. Our decision science team turns data into decisions that move the business, not reports that sit in a folder. We're seeking a Senior Analyst to help us decide where to invest, where to scale, and where to grow next.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level data analyst who thinks in markets: someone who can combine data from many sources into a clear view of where the opportunity is, and who is as comfortable writing complex SQL as they are presenting a recommendation to marketing and firm leadership. You will shape how Top Dog Law evaluates its existing markets and chooses new ones.

What You Will Own

Market Analysis

  • Evaluate marketing ROI at the market level to show where our investment is working hardest and where it is not
  • Pinpoint markets that are ready to scale, and build the case for how much and how fast
  • Analyze marketing channel data across our media mix including; Meta, YouTube, CTV, Radio, and others.
  • Follow the conversion funnel across markets and uncover what is driving the differences in performance
  • Assess market saturation and bring together multiple data sources to size the opportunity in each market
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand how we stack up and where competitors are leaving room
  • Identify and prioritize new markets for expansion

Reporting & Decision Support

  • Write and maintain SQL that powers market-level reporting and analysis
  • Build and maintain dashboards that give marketing and leadership a clear view of market performance
  • Prepare regular updates covering results, market opportunity, and forward-looking recommendations
  • Use AI tools, including Claude, to build workflows and accelerate analysis
  • Partner with data engineering and the broader decision science team to improve data quality and trust in the numbers

What You Bring

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in an analytics or data analyst role, with a track record of influencing business decisions
  • Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex joins, CTEs, and window functions
  • Experience analyzing marketing performance and ROI, ideally across geographies or markets
  • Experience building and interpreting conversion funnels and diagnosing what drives performance
  • Comfort combining and reconciling multiple internal and external data sources into a single view
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude to accelerate analysis and improve your work
  • Strong fundamentals in statistics and analytical problem solving, including knowing when a result is signal versus noise
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to turn complex analysis into a clear story for non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven problem-solver who proactively identifies issues, diagnoses root causes, and acts without waiting to be directed

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with market sizing, saturation modeling, or market expansion analysis
  • Experience with competitive intelligence or market research data
  • Experience working with geographic or location-based data
  • Experience in legal, insurance, or other lead-driven, service-based industries
  • Familiarity with modern BI and dashboarding tools

Who Thrives Here (Core Values)

We don't hire on resumes alone. We hire for competence, character, and mindset.

  • Embrace Change: Open to feedback, embracing change, and always asking "what's next?"
  • Committed: You care deeply, have your teammates' backs, and show up to build something lasting.
  • No-Ego Energy: Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented. Drama stays at the door.
  • Ownership: You do what you say, follow through, and treat the business like it's yours.
  • Fast & Hungry: You move with urgency, thrive under high expectations, and are motivated by growth and impact.

What We Offer

  • Base Salary: $105,000 - $129,000, commensurate with experience
  • Our job postings reflect the compensation range for the specific market and location of each role. Ranges vary by geography based on local market rates and cost of labor.
  • Benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, HSA, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, and parental leave.

Equal Opportunity Employer

We are an equal opportunity employer. Employment selection and related decisions are made without regard to age, race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender identification, or being a qualified disabled veteran or qualified veteran of the Vietnam era or any other category protected by Federal or State law.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
