Senior Business Analyst - Hybrid
Under the direction of AVP Clinical Shared Services, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for preparing and maintaining reports, analytical tools, and dashboards for ASCs, Pharmacy, Lab, and Imaging services to measure Quad Aim performance. This position imports, validates, and interprets data as well as investigates and troubleshoots issues so that accurate reports are delivered in a timely manner to govern complex Joint Venture partnerships and enterprise services.
The Senior Business Analyst will act as an internal consultant on strategic projects and will be responsible for providing recommendations to our regional and system executive clients on how to improve performance and optimize our footprint across ASCs, AICs, infusion, and other areas. This person will be an excellent communicator and will synthesize complex performance results into understandable outputs and recommendations. This person will need to gain actionable insights from numerous, complex data sources in order to provide thought leadership to Clinical Shared Services areas.
Essential Functions:
- Develop, maintain, and update reports and analytical dashboards to measure performance across the Quadruple Aim (Stewardship, Quality, Patient Experience, Caregiver Experience)
- Support ambulatory growth strategy projects with ad-hoc analyses for ASCs, AICs, and infusion, including market assessments, volume forecasting, and business case development
- Work closely with the Clinical Shared Services leadership team, including CFO and AVP, to prioritize business and information needs. Offer solutions to improve operations and reporting capabilities as identified.
- Ensure validity of data including identifying and reconciling discrepancies in intelligence from multiple reporting sources and/or systems and/or conducting period audits to improve data quality
- Develop recurring and ad-hoc executive-level reporting and presentations for operational reviews, governance committees, and strategic planning discussions
Skills and Abilities for Success:
- Excellent data engineering, analytics, and reporting skills. Proficiency with Power BI and data warehouse technologies (SQL, Snowflake). Comfort working with large healthcare datasets (Electronic Medical Records and claims).
- Ability to effectively manage, prioritize, and execute across multiple concurrent projects and competing organizational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to problem-solve, even in unfamiliar situations. Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate solutions to the problems that have been assessed.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrixed organization and interfacing with external partners.
- Strong, professional communication skills, both written and spoken. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Actively listens when communicating with others.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics, BSE, BBA, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Or equivalent educ/experience.
- 4 years Experience communicating with healthcare leadership and front-line caregivers.
- 2 years Experience working with healthcare claims and/or Electronic Medical Record billing data.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years Experience writing complex SQL queries.
- 2 years Management consulting or technical consulting experience.
- Experience with PowerBI

- California: All Southern California - Except Bakersfield: Min: $44.35, Max: $68.86
- Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min: $42.55, Max: $66.06
- Washington: Western: Min: $44.35, Max: $68.86
