At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Snowflake's Content Marketing team is evolving into a Content Center of Excellence (CoE) that earns market authority through deep topic ownership, original research, and AI-powered workflows. We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager who will sit at the intersection of thought leadership, research, and AI innovation — someone who doesn't just write great content but builds the systems and AI workflows that scale great content across Snowflake.

This role is strategic and hands-on. You will drive original research initiatives, develop thought leadership narratives on priority topics, and architect AI-driven content workflows. You will also serve as an evangelist for the CoE's best practices, extending AI-powered content creation capabilities to product marketing, field marketing, and GTM teams across the company.

Our ideal candidate is deeply curious, a strong writer and editor, obsessed with AI tooling, and energized by the idea of building repeatable AI workflows that turn a brief into a publish-ready asset. If you get excited about prompt engineering, building AI agents for content, and using data to drive editorial strategy, this is your role.

This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area or Bellevue, WA.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Research & Thought Leadership

  • Own and drive original research programs — surveys, data studies, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking — that establish Snowflake as a thought leader on priority topics

  • Develop and maintain deep subject-matter expertise in 2-3 priority topic areas and build authoritative long-form content: research reports, executive bylines, data-driven blog series, and op-eds

  • Partner with internal SMEs, and executives to source insights and translate them into high-impact narratives

  • Track share-of-voice, search trends, and competitive positioning to identify content gaps and opportunities where Snowflake can lead the conversation

AI Workflows & Content Innovation

  • Design, build, and continuously improve AI-powered content workflows using Snowflake Cortex, CoCo Skills, and Content Studio (our Streamlit-based AI content engine)

  • Create and maintain AI skills and prompt chains for content production: blog drafting, ebook generation, SEO optimization, copyediting, brand voice compliance, and content auditing

  • Serve as the team's AI workflow architect — evaluate new AI capabilities, prototype tools, and integrate them into the content production pipeline

  • Build self-serve AI tools that enable non-content teams (product marketing, field marketing, partner marketing) to produce on-brand, CoE-quality content independently

  • Measure and report on AI workflow adoption, time savings, and content quality improvements

  • Evangelize the CoE's content standards, AI tools, and workflows to product marketing, corporate communications, engineering blog, and partner marketing teams

Content Strategy & Production

  • Write and edit high-quality content across formats: research reports, ebooks, solution briefs, blog posts, web pages, executive bylines, and campaign assets

  • Ensure all content aligns with Snowflake brand voice, SEO best practices, and CoE editorial standards

  • Use content performance analytics (page views, engagement rates, scroll depth, downloads, pipeline influence) to inform editorial strategy and prioritization

  • Manage content calendars, production timelines, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or digital content strategy — preferably in B2B technology or enterprise SaaS

  • Demonstrated experience building or using AI tools for content creation and content processes — prompt engineering, AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, or similar. You should be able to articulate specific AI workflows you've built, not just tools you've used

  • Strong writer and editor with proven ability to produce research-driven, long-form thought leadership content (bylines, research reports, data studies)

  • Experience designing and executing original research programs (surveys, data studies, benchmarks) that generate earned media and thought leadership positioning

  • Ability to work with technical concepts (data engineering, AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, security) and translate them into compelling narratives for business and technical audiences

  • Strong project management skills — ability to own and drive production schedules, manage stakeholders, and coordinate across multiple teams simultaneously

  • Experience using content analytics (traffic, engagement, SEO rankings, pipeline attribution) to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI

  • Comfort with data tools and willingness to learn Snowflake-specific platforms (Cortex, Streamlit, SQL basics) — you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be eager to build

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Snowflake, or similar cloud data platforms

  • Hands-on experience with AI/LLM platforms (building agents, prompt chains, RAG pipelines, or AI-assisted editorial workflows)

  • Experience working in or with a content center of excellence model

  • Familiarity with SEO tools and strategy (search volume analysis, keyword research, competitive gap analysis)

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
