Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/

About the role

Ruby labs is looking for a Senior CRO Manager — someone who lives and breathes conversion optimization, has sharp instincts for UI/UX, and ships fast.

This isn't a role where CRO specialists just hand off recommendations. You'll own the full loop: data analysis, hypothesis generation, high-fidelity mockups, collaboration with engineers, and the performance outcomes that follow. The pace is fast and iterative — we ship experiments, learn, and keep the engine running.

We've built a compensation structure that directly rewards people who exceed targets. Top performers see meaningful financial upside tied to their impact.

Responsibilities
  • Run end-to-end optimization cycles: research → hypothesis → design → test → rollout — and keep the cycles short.

  • Use AI tools daily to accelerate research, ideation, mockup creation, analysis, and documentation. This is core to how we work, not an afterthought.

  • Perform deep funnel analysis and competitive benchmarking to surface high-impact opportunities.

  • Design high-fidelity UI/UX mockups that clearly communicate your vision while protecting brand integrity.

  • Partner with engineers to ensure flawless test implementation and rapid deployment.

  • Analyze results with statistical rigor and make confident scaling decisions.

  • Document learnings and maintain a continuously prioritized testing roadmap.

  • Present insights and results clearly to stakeholders, building alignment and momentum.

Qualifications
  • Proven CRO results: 3+ years of hands-on CRO experience, ideally with subscription or SaaS funnels, with documented performance lifts.

  • AI-native workflow: You actively integrate AI into your daily process — prompting, prototyping, analyzing, drafting — and have opinions about what actually works. Almost a must.

  • Design taste: Strong UI/UX sensibility and the ability to recognize and create ideas that convert. You can build compelling, detailed mockups yourself.

  • Speed and iteration: Bias for shipping. You'd rather get two well-designed tests live today than one perfect test in a week, and you keep the cycle moving.

  • Analytical depth: Skilled in Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Growthbook, or similar.

  • Execution excellence: Remarkable attention to detail in fast-moving environments.

  • Ownership: Self-driven, proactive, fully accountable for outcomes.

  • Fluent English: strong written and verbal communication.

Nice to Have
  • Exposure to marketing attribution models, UTM parameters, and ROAS measurement.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute quickly.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

What We Offer to High Performers

We value ambitious professionals who deliver results. We offer:

  • A merit-based environment where performance directly impacts compensation

  • Substantial bonus structure tied to exceeding KPI targets

  • Rapid career advancement for those who consistently deliver

  • Autonomy to implement your vision without bureaucratic barriers

  • Opportunity to work with a team that moves fast and values excellence

If you're a CRO professional who thrives on measurable impact, loves owning the full optimization process, and wants compensation directly tied to your performance, we want to talk. This role is for someone who doesn't just want to suggest improvements – but wants to create them, implement them, and be rewarded for their success.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
