Position Purpose:

The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst (Strategic Financial Specialist) supports and drives the long‑term financial strategy for the Cybersecurity organization. This role partners with Cybersecurity leadership and cross‑functional technology teams to align budget planning, investment decisions, and cost optimization efforts with enterprise priorities. The position provides advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis to inform executive decision‑making while serving as a key escalation point for operational financial matters. Through strategic insight and disciplined financial governance, this role helps ensure cybersecurity investments deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 50% Analysis - Synthesize data to develop a solution, communicate the solutions, present the solution to teams/stakeholders
  • 20% Collaborate - Partner cross-functionally to identify trends and resolve issues
  • 20% Drive Execution - Implement solutions to meet customer expectations; Ensure initiative/project goals are met in a timely manner
  • 10% Support and Enable - Mentor junior level Analyst

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting annual budget planning and multi‑year financial roadmaps within a technology or cybersecurity environment
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including scenario (“what‑if”) analysis to support strategic decision‑making
  • Experience analyzing both labor and non‑labor expenses, including headcount planning, vendor spend, and technology investments
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Architecture, Engineering, Operations, and leadership teams
  • Ability to translate complex financial and technical information into clear, executive‑ready insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proficiency with financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial models, dashboards, or equivalent)
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, information security, risk, GRC, or enterprise technology organizations
  • Background in large, complex enterprise environments with matrixed stakeholders
  • Experience with cost optimization, technology rationalization, or vendor consolidation initiatives
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity technology domains and operating models
  • Experience presenting financial insights to senior leadership or executive audiences

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

The pay range for this position is between $100,000 - $180,000
