Senior Data Quality Engineer

Valiant Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Quality Engineer to join our rapidly growing and innovative team!

The Senior Data Quality Engineer specializes in validating complex enterprise data processing, transformation, migration, reconciliation, and reporting across the AirHub. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity of highly complex environmental datasets supporting Ambient, Emissions, Regulatory and cross-program business processes.

Required Experience

• 10+ years database testing 
• Advanced SQL skills 
• Strong automation experience 
• Experience validating ETL pipelines 
• Experience with complex relational data models 
• Experience with large-scale data migration testing 
• Strong analytical skills 
• Programming experience (Python preferred)

 Responsibilities

• Develop complex data validation strategies. 
• Validate data transformations. 
• Verify legacy data migrations. 
• Build automated database validation scripts. 
• Validate business rules. 
• Support API testing. 
• Validate event-driven data processing. 
• Develop reconciliation reports. 
• Partner closely with Data Architects and Data Engineers. 
• Mentor junior testers.

The salary range for this position is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. It has been benchmarked in relation to the scope of the role, market rate, and internal equity. The salary for this role is expected to be in the $115,000- $135,000 range. Where a candidate falls within the band can be determined based on one or more of the following: skillset, experience level, achievements, education, geographic location, security clearance, involvement in corporate tasks, and other non-discriminatory factors. In addition to the base salary, this role will include benefits as described above.  Valiant reserves the right to adjust the salary range, experience requirements, and position responsibilities at any time without prior notice.
