DevOps/Security Engineer

Location: Remote (Global)

Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing hire

We are seeking a proactive and security-minded DevOps/Security Engineer to support the infrastructure and scalability of our growing digital platforms. You will work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to implement DevOps best practices, secure environments, and ensure robust infrastructure as we prepare for rapid growth.

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for production and staging environments

• Integrate third-party services including Trulioo, OKTA (SSO), and Cloudflare

• Manage SSL/TLS certificates and ensure secure HTTPS implementations across platforms

• Implement and oversee access control policies across development and production environments

• Harden cloud infrastructure (DigitalOcean, other providers) for scalability and security

• Monitor and patch vulnerabilities; apply DevSecOps principles

• Collaborate with developers to optimize deployment workflows and reduce downtime

• Participate in incident response planning and recovery strategies

• Establish best practices for infrastructure as code and secure configuration management

• 3–6 years of DevOps and/or Security Engineering experience

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, Docker, and Linux server administration

• Experience configuring Cloudflare, SSL/TLS, and DNS

• Familiarity with IAM and SSO systems like OKTA

• Working knowledge of Trulioo or similar KYC integrations

• Proficient in access control, secrets management, and API security

• Excellent documentation and communication skills

• Independent, solutions-driven, and able to troubleshoot autonomously

• Certifications in cloud security or DevOps (e.g., AWS/GCP Certified, Security+)

• Past experience in fintech or regulated environments

• Familiarity with digital identity verification tools and secure user onboarding

• Comfort with scale-up environments or fast-growth startups

Compensation:

• Negotiable, depending on location, deferred to completion of Demo
