Senior Director of Enterprise Business Systems

Summary of Role:

Nasuni is seeking a transformative and visionary Senior Director of Enterprise Business Systems to lead the strategy, delivery, and continuous evolution of our global application ecosystem. This role is critical to enabling operational scale, optimizing business processes, and embedding AI and automation across the enterprise.

You will lead a high-performing team responsible for core platforms like Salesforce, Snowflake, Gainsight, Hubspot, Greenhouse, Concur, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Workato, and more—driving not just support, but innovation, efficiency, and cross-functional value realization.

As a strategic technology leader reporting to the CIO, you’ll collaborate deeply with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, People Operations, and Engineering leadership to embed AI-powered workflows, reduce manual work, and enhance employee and customer experiences through intelligent systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the enterprise applications strategy and roadmap, aligned to key business objectives and scalability needs.
  • Champion Agile delivery practices to accelerate outcomes, improve stakeholder alignment, and iterate on value delivery.
  • Drive the adoption of GenAI and intelligent automation within core platforms (e.g., Salesforce GPT, Snowflake Cortex, Gainsight AI).
  • Identify and implement automation using Workato, native workflows, and low-code platforms to reduce friction and increase productivity.
  • Lead and grow a team of business systems professionals, including application admins, architects, and integration/automation specialists.
  • Manage system interoperability through scalable integration frameworks and APIs, with Workato as a primary tool.
  • Ensure strong collaboration with Security and IT on access controls, auditability, and regulatory compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Lead high-impact initiatives like ERP modernization, onboarding/offboarding orchestration, and enterprise tool consolidation.
  • Establish KPIs for system performance, user adoption, process efficiency, and ROI—reporting to executive stakeholders.
  • Own vendor relationships, procurement, and license optimization to ensure cost-effective scaling.
  • Serve as a key contributor to Nasuni’s AI and Automation governance, including participation in the AI Steering Committee.
  • Evaluate and deploy process mining tools to uncover automation opportunities and reduce operational bottlenecks
  • Partner cross-functionally on employee experience initiatives, ensuring systems are seamless and intelligent.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics to surface AI-ready datasets from core platforms and streamline reporting pipelines.
  • Build and maintain a Center of Excellence (CoE) around enterprise applications, automation, and integration best practices.

Minimum / Must Have:

  • 10+ years leading enterprise application teams in high-growth SaaS or technology environments.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce and at least three additional platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Gainsight, Greenhouse, Hubspot, Concur).
  • Deep experience delivering outcomes using Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Strong working knowledge of Workato or similar integration/automation tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Zapier, Boomi).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver business value through automation, AI integration, and platform optimization.
  • Strong leadership presence and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SaaS integration models, security best practices, and data governance standards.

Preferred / Ideal:

  • Experience embedding Generative AI capabilities into enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce GPT, Microsoft Copilot).
  • Leadership of enterprise-scale application modernization and digital transformation programs.
  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or Private Equity-backed environments.
  • Experience standing up a Business Systems or Automation CoE from the ground up.
  • Working knowledge of compliance and audit frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related technical discipline.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
